A Montessori-based religious formation program creating a sacred, hands-on space where children hear, ponder, and celebrate the mysteries of the faith — all are invited, including children with learning differences.
Meets: The Atrium, Room 102, Elmer Hall.
During Sunday morning Mass, children in Kindergarten–5th grade are guided to the Family Center to hear the Scriptures proclaimed from a children’s lectionary, with sung Psalm and Gospel Acclamation — full participation in the Mass, at their level.
Matching the young and the old through prayer: children “adopt” an elderly or homebound member of our community, pray for them daily, and send notes of care and joy — growing in compassion, empathy, and reverence for the vulnerable.
Volunteers who hand on the faith across our formation programs. Training and support provided — no experience required.
A Christ-centered character and leadership program for girls 5–18, building women of integrity through badge work, service projects, leadership, and outdoor experiences. Open to all girls of the parish.
St. Theresa sponsors Boy Scout Troop 229, a Cub Scout pack (grades 1–5), Girl Scout troops, and an American Heritage Girls troop — teaching Scouting values, survival skills, and leadership.
Meets: Troop 229: Sunday afternoons during the school year.
Men of all ages come together weekly to grow in faith and brotherhood — with breakfast tacos and coffee at every meeting. A summer Breakfast Club keeps the rhythm going over break.
Meets: Wednesday mornings before work, during the school year.
Fellowship gatherings that help parishioners meet one another and put down roots at St. Theresa.
Adult fellowship, catechesis, and spiritual growth — speakers, videos, and small-group discussion.
For mothers with children of any age — and expectant mothers too — fostering friendship and support in motherhood and in faith. Mothers of Young Children meets with a flexible “flex and flow” structure; babies welcome.

Our council of the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church — dedicated to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Knights serve the parish and community, and host monthly Breakfast Tacos, coffee, and donuts after the Sunday morning Masses in the Family Center.
Catholic women growing in friendship and faith over coffee — studies like Walking with Purpose and 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory. An empty chair is always open to new members.
Meets: Thursday mornings, Elmer Hall (weekly); summer book club at rotating locations.
Welcoming a new child? Share your due date and we’ll pray for you — then Bundle of Blessings volunteers stop by with food, support, and a small gift after your baby arrives. Also your starting point for infant baptism.
Complimentary, volunteer-staffed child care for ages 6 months–3 years during the two later Sunday morning Masses (opens 15 minutes early), in the southwest corner of the Family Center. All caregivers are CPR/first-aid trained and EIM-compliant.
Monthly Saturday evenings of fellowship and food followed by Adoration. Required for Confirmation candidates.

Youth ministry gatherings twice monthly for teens ages 14–18 — for Confirmation and non-Confirmation students alike.

Praying and working for the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death — including a Lenten diaper drive for Catholic Charities and an October baby-item drive for Annunciation Maternity Home.
Companionship and prayer for those mourning — including a grief retreat and the Funeral Ministry, which hosts loving luncheon receptions for families after funeral Masses.
Volunteers make and deliver about 200 breakfast tacos every Friday morning to folks at two homeless shelters in Austin.
Weekly gatherings for high-school teens — lunch, fellowship, faith, and fun (Sundays, Elmer Hall), plus Saturday Night Live and Sports & Summit. Confirmation prep runs through HSYM.
