Grow
Children (PreK–8)
“Let the children come to me.” Fun, engaging catechesis that invites the whole family to grow — with parents empowered as the primary educators of the faith.
Three programs — find your family's fit
- Sunday Catechesis — weekly classes for K–8 on Sunday mornings between the morning Masses.
- Family of Faith — twice-monthly Wednesday-afternoon program where parents and children learn together, with at-home materials in between.
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Level I) — Montessori-style formation for ages 3–6 in the Atrium.
Sacrament preparation
First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation runs alongside 2nd-grade catechesis, following the diocesan two-year catechesis requirement, with retreats and a parent commitment.
Vacation Bible School & Easter traditions
Each June, kids in kindergarten through 5th grade spend a week of mornings (9:00 AM to noon, Monday through Friday) on an adventure through Scripture — songs, crafts, skits, and a fully transformed Family Center. Recent themes have taken kids to ‘Egypt: Joseph's Journey’ and into ‘Rainforest Falls — Exploring the Nature of God.’ Registration typically opens in early spring, and the week runs on parish volunteers — adults especially, to lead crews, stations, music, and drama.
Every Easter Sunday, kids gather for an Easter Egg Hunt right after the 9:00 AM Mass — a St. Theresa tradition the whole family looks forward to.
