Grow
Adults & Young Adults
Adult formation at St. Theresa runs on rhythm: men gather weekly before dawn, women gather weekly over coffee and on Tuesday nights, a class opens every Monday for anyone exploring the faith, and a rotating slate of Bible studies runs nearly year-round. Wherever you are in your walk, there's a seat with your name on it.
Catalyst — men's ministry
Men of all ages meet every Wednesday morning during the school year — 6:00 AM in the Family Center, breakfast tacos and coffee included — for a short talk and real conversation about faith and brotherhood. It's grown into the largest men's group in the Diocese of Austin, with roughly a hundred guys showing up for the fall kickoff.
Topics range from Bishop Barron and Fulton Sheen talks to an annual ‘Stump the Pastor’ Q&A with Fr. Larry and a one-day retreat each spring. Over the summer, Catalyst keeps a lighter rhythm with a Breakfast Club — casual coffee and fellowship on Wednesday mornings at a local cafe.
Coffee & Christ — women's ministry
Women meet weekly on Thursday mornings during the school year, 7:45–8:45 AM, for a short video and real conversation over coffee — studies have included Walking with Purpose, Sacred Chaos (a retreat for moms drowning in dishes, diapers, and carpool duty), Crux during Lent, and 33 Days to Divine Mercy. There's always an empty chair for someone new.
In summer, the rhythm shifts to Fun Fridays — coffee, prayer, and informal fellowship at 9:15 AM, kids welcome — plus a summer book club that swaps a shared read for a discussion at a local coffee shop.
Connections — women's ministry
A different kind of women's gathering: Tuesday evenings, 6:45–8:30 PM in the Family Center, built around a rotating lineup of speakers, Bishop Barron videos, and real conversation — recent topics have ranged from Women of the Passion during Lent to How the Church Makes Saints and Pope Leo XIV Wants You. Drop in for one session or come every week; each night stands on its own.
Connections also hosts some of the parish's favorite women's socials through the year, including a summer pool social and a Christmas potluck.
Catholicism 101
A weekly class for anyone who wants to go deeper — Monday evenings, 7:00 PM — built for adults preparing for Confirmation and for parishioners who just want a real grounding in the faith. Topics move through how to read the Bible, what holiness looks like, how to pray like the saints, and the Church's teaching on justification and the path to Heaven.
It's also a great low-key starting point if you're exploring the Catholic faith and aren't quite ready for OCIA — see Become Catholic.
Bible study
There's almost always a Bible study running, usually on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings, for a materials fee (typically around $25–$30). Recent studies have worked through Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible (Jeff Cavins' chronological walk through salvation history), Galatians: Set Free to Live, The Prophets: Messengers of God's Mercy, Exodus: Called to Freedom, and an 11-week study of Revelation: Kingdom Yet to Come.
Register through the parish office — new studies are announced in the bulletin as each one wraps up.
Young adults
Community, formation, and friendship for those in their 20s and 30s — young adults are woven through parish life, from Summit's Tuesday evenings of adoration and worship to serving in ministries and studies alongside the whole parish. A great first step: come to Summit, or reach out and we'll help you find your people.
Spiritual direction
A spiritual director is a trained companion for your journey — more about asking the right questions than giving answers, helping you listen and respond to the Holy Spirit. If you're at a crossroads or simply want to go deeper, ask about being matched with a director.
FORMED & Word on Fire
Every parishioner has free access to FORMED — movies, studies, and talks for every age — plus Word on Fire's daily reflections and homilies from Bishop Robert Barron.
