Remove my recording
Your recording, your choice
You can change your mind at any time, for any reason, and you never have to explain why. Here is what you agreed to when you shared your memories, and how to ask us to remove them.
What you agreed to
- You are giving St. Theresa Catholic Church and School permission to keep this recording, and any photo you add, in the parish's oral history archive.
- Nothing you share is published until a member of the project team has listened to it and approved it, and it will only ever be shared as widely as the choice you made.
- You can change your mind at any time. Ask us to remove your recording and we will permanently delete the audio, the transcript, and every copy we made from it.
- The project team may make a written transcript of your recording, and may lightly edit the transcript for clarity. Your audio is never altered.
How removal works
- Tell us which recording. Your reference code helps us find it quickly. If you don't have it, your name and roughly when you sent it are enough.
- We confirm with you first. A person on the project team will contact you to make sure the request really came from you. Nothing is deleted before then.
- We delete it for good. The audio, the transcript, and every copy we made from it, including anything that was shared on this website.

What happens next
- A person on the project team will contact you to confirm, before anything is deleted.
- Then we permanently delete the audio, the transcript, and every copy.
- We will let you know when it is done.
